Accrington bid for former midfielder Craney

Ian Craney has never really settled into the Swansea side, the midfielder was prolific for Stanley, scoring 28 goals in 100 appearances.

But the main question is if the League Two club can afford to offer sufficient money for the player to move.

Accrington Manager John Coleman said:

"We are trying to bring Ian here. We are in negotiations with Swansea at the moment," revealed Coleman.

"We are trying to put a package together that will be acceptable to both Swansea and Ian.

"Ian's a good footballer, but he hasn't played a lot of football this year.

"Getting injured was a big blow for him. The more games he plays, the better he'll get and, hopefully, we'll see the best of him over the Christmas period."
