Former Dutch under-21 international Kemy Agustien has completed his loan move from Swansea City to Championship rivals Crystal Palace. The 24-year-old midfielder has signed for the Selhurst Park until the end of the season but the Swans do have a 24-hour recall after the first 28 days.
Agustien has been restricted to three league starts this term since signing in the summer because of knee trouble.
"I felt Kemy needed games," said Swans boss Brendan Rodgers.
Agustien, who signed a two-year deal at Swansea in the summer following his release by Dutch side AZ Alkmaar, has struggled for fitness this season.
And the Dutch playmaker is behind Joe Allen, Mark Gower, Darren Pratley, Leon Britton and Andrea Orlandi in the centre of the Swans midfield.
"Kemy is the type of player who wants to play," said Rodgers.
"He came here injured and the players in his position have done very, very well.
"But he can go to Palace and get games and then we will assess it from there."
