Bristol City are now requesting a fee of around £15k for their flying winger Marc Goodfellow. Goodfellow, who has been one of Kenny Jackett's top transfer targets since Christmas, was previously up for sale at around £65k and City's new value could well tempt the Swans manager to make his first summer addition to his promoted squad.
Goodfellow spent a month on loan at the Vetch in December and left a huge impression on both the management and supporters. Despite only playing a handful of games, the influential winger added balance to the left of Swansea's midfield, scoring goals against Oxford, Stockport and Kidderminster in the process.
The winger, whose previous clubs include Championship side Stoke City, enjoyed a successful two month loan period at League One outfit Colchester United at the end of last season, after Bristol City refused Swansea's original £25k bid.
