Clubs To Negotiate Over Bayo Fee

Swansea Chairman Huw Jenkins will meet with his Torquay counterpart Mike Bateson on Monday, in an attempt to reach an agreement over the Adebayo Akinfenwa fee. Although there can be no guarantee that the two clubs will be agreed on the final compensation due, both Chairmen will at least attempt to reach a mutually beneficial decision before the issue reaches an FA tribunal next month.

Mike Bateson told the Torquay official website, "We are some way apart but we've agreed to meet again on Monday in an attempt to reach an agreement before the need of using the tribunal. I can't say I'm confident that we'll agree terms and the matter may well be decided by others".
