Confirmed: Trundle Goes On Tour

After rumours suggesting otherwise, Swansea have confirmed that Lee Trundle will travel with the squad to Holland. A recent scan has shown that there is no major ligament damage and Trundle will be hoping to play his first minutes of pre-season action in Holland.

The travelling squad contains 20 players, including trialists Willy Gueret and Dennis Oli. Duane Courtney appears to have been cast aside by Kenny Jackett, while Sean Byrne and Sheldon Lawrence must both await their fate. Several youth players such as Kevin Davies and Matthew Roberts will also most probably be joining the squad.

Swansea's first fixture is on Tuesday, when the Welsh side face the challenge of Den Haag. Kenny Jackett's squad will return on August 2nd, just days before the big August 7th kick-off.
