Connor Fit For Kidderminster Clash

Last updated : 07 September 2004 By Richard Evans
Paul Connor has stated that he will more than likely be fit for Saturday's Le
ague Two fixture against Kidderminster, despite limping off with a hamstring injury at the weekend. Connor was removed from the Yeovil defeat before half time, with physio Richard Evans making the decision as a precautionary measure but claims that he will be fit and ready for Swansea's next home match.

The ex-Rochdale striker will also be looking to net his first goals of the season after a somewhat lean period in front of goal. Yet to score in seven appearances so far this season, Connor is confident that he can aid Swansea's recent poor goalscoring form and add to the pitiful five goals scored so far.

Lee Trundle is currently top marksman at the Vetch with two goals, with Kevin Nugent, Andy Robinson and Izzy Iriekpen the others to hit back of the net. Paul Connor is determined to add his name to the list on Saturday and return to last season's excellent form that saw him hit five goals in twelve appearances.
