With Lee Trundle and James Thomas already on the injury list, the last thing that Kenny Jackett would have wanted from Saturday's League Two schedule was another injured striker. Unfortunately, it appears that Paul Connor has sustained some minor damage to his right knee in Swansea's impressive weekend victory, leaving Jackett with a striking nightmare.
With James Thomas out for several weeks and Trundle's fitness still a doubt for next weekend, Kevin Nugent remains the only fit senior forward for the visit of Rushden on Saturday. Swansea have yet to comment on Connor's injury, although the striker left the changing rooms with it heavily strapped and appeared to be in some pain and supporters will be hoping that the striker has suffered only a minor knock.
