Swansea are facing a mini-injury crisis up front for the visit of Nottingham Forest this weekend, with the news that Paul Connor will be sidelined for at least a month. Bayo Akinfenwa also remains doubtful after missing the trip to Hartlepool through injury, leaving Jackett with Lee Thorpe as the only other recognised forward that has played in senior competition this season.
Other options could be youngsters Chad Bond and Mark Pritchard, although it is unlikely that Jackett will rely on his veteran assistant manager Kevin Nugent to fill the void. With Christian Edwards returning to Bristol Rovers, a loan signing is not out of the question too, as Swansea prepare for to face League One giants Forest at the weekend.
Leon Britton is set to return to the starting line-up following his mini lay-off with injury and suspension, whilst Adrian Forbes, Owain Tudur-Jones and Kris O'Leary remain unavailable.
