Speaking to the Evening Post, Cruyff explained that friend and Swansea captain Martinez had spoken very highly of the club. "Having seen it for myself I think they have got a good chance and I certainly hope they do well", said Cruyff. ''Everybody is really positive and there are a couple of players here with some good ability".
However, Kenny Jackett admitted that perhaps offering a contract to the Dutch International would be slightly unrealistic.
