The Swans went down to a disappointing 2-1 home defeat to Portsmouth on Friday night, coming after they rescued a late point at Doncaster the week before.
But Brendan Rodgers` side have already proved this term they can respond in the right manner, winning the following game after each of their five previous defeats to date against Hull, Norwich, Leeds, Nottingham Forest and Bristol City.
Goalkeeper De Vries is hoping that record continues at Portman Road and told City`s official website: "Every season is up and down.
"That (responding) is the mentality of every good team and I think we`ve shown in the past we can bounce back because we are a good team. After recently losing against Bristol City we did it against Middlesbrough.
"But now I`m just looking forward to the next game because we want to get things going again and try and bring in another good winning streak. It`s just learning from the moments we had against Portsmouth, simple as that."
