Swansea City face a goalkeeping crisis as Dorus de Vries and David Knight find themselves injured, the latter ruled out for at least 3 weeks.
First choice stopper de Vries though, will probably come through.
Youth team Keepers' Callum Hawthorne and David Cornell are on standby if de Vries does not come through and Swansea would be able to sign a player on emergency loan.
Roberto Martinez told the Evening Post:
"At the moment our two keepers are injured, but we are going to see how Dorus looks after training today,"
"He was very sore yesterday and we can't be sure how he's going to react, but I'm optimistic he'll be fit."
"We would be able to get an emergency loan even though the window is closed and I am keeping my options open.
"But at this stage I don't think we'll need to go into the loan market because I know how quickly Dorus recovers.
Earlier in the week, he praised the Dutchman after his Match winning saves against Hartlepool.
"I don't think it surprises us anymore when Dorus makes great saves because he has shown he is capable of doing it week-in, week out
"He put in another great performance against Hartlepool, but I know he will go back to the training ground and try to keep on improving with (goalkeeping coach) Inaki Bergara.
"Dorus is a winner and that's the mentality he has got.
"I certainly wouldn't swap him for anyone else.
"He is only 26, he is full of enthusiasm in training every day and he has fantastic power in his lower body.
"He can play as high as he wants to in the future."
