Tate is on loan from Manchester United with Richards joining from Blackburn Rovers, and both are likely to go straight into the starting lineup.
City are in better form than earlier in the season, but the Iron are in good form themselves and are on the cusp of the playoffs.
A familiar face in their lineup will be former Swan Steve Torpey, who is in red hot form for them having already netted two hat-tricks this season - one in last week's FA Cup win at Nortwhich Victoria and one against high flying Torquay United.
Scunny are struggling in defence however. Mark Jackson, James Cotterill and Steve Wright are injured while Stuart Balmer is injured. They have short term cover in the form of Sunderland youngster CLiff Byrne who made the trip down to Lincolnshire yesterday for a month.
