The winger beat off strong competition from the likes of Scott Sinclair, Dorus de Vries and Ashley Williams to scoop the award.
Dyer, who may not have claimed the headlines or goals seen by the likes of Sinclair, has undoubtedly played a key role in City`s promotion charge this season, terrorising defences and starting all but one of the club`s 45 league games to date.
Manager Brendan Rodgers told Swans` official website: "Nathan`s been absolutely outstanding all season. In all my time here this season I can`t think of too many games when he hasn`t been on top of his game at home and away."
Fellow wide man Sinclair claimed the awards for best newcomer, top goalscorer and goal of the season (at home to Nottingham Forest), goalkeeper De Vries won players` player of the year and away player of the year while full-back Neil Taylor walked away with the young player of the year.
Elsewhere, Swansea have confirmed an extended three-year sponsorship deal with online gaming company 32Red which is the biggest in the club`s history.
