Ex-Swan Lines Up For Big Champions League Clash

Ex-Swansea City forward Jamie Wood is set to play in the match that has caught the public's imagination...Liverpool v TNS. The ex-Manchester United trainee has been named in the starting line-up to face the European Champions at Anfield and will no doubt relish the experience of playing against the likes of Sammi Hyppia and Jamie Carragher.
Wood joined last season's League of Wales champions after being released by the Swans two summers ago and hit 8 goals as the club won the League of Wales championship last season. The striker will probably be best remembered for his goal against Wolves in the live Sky Worthingtons Cup fixture of 2002/03, although Wood hardly featured after the appointment of Brian Flynn later that season.
