Ex-Swansea target Martin Devaney has signed for Championship outift Watford, after two months of solid speculation regarding his future. The Cheltenham midfielder became officially out of contract this morning and opted to join the Hornets, who are attempting to rebuid under new manager Adrian Boothroyd.
Swansea had previously discussed terms with Devaney in mid-May, but ended talks when Kenny Jackett decided that he wanted to look elsewhere instead. Devaney was also the subject of a bid from Yeovil but has instead decided to try his luck in the country's second tier of football.
