Forbes Injury Blow

Kenny Jackett has confirmed that Adrian Forbes will not participate in any of the remaining fixtures on Swansea's Dutch Tour, after picking up an ankle injury in Tuesday night's Den Haag friendly. Although Jackett remains confident that Forbes will be fit for the opening game of the season, he believes that it isn't worth risking the forward in any of Swansea's other pre-season matches.
Forbes joins a growing injury list at Swansea, with Lee Trundle, Izzy Iriekpen, Brad Maylett and Kris O'Leary already out. However, the latter two are likely to play some part in the Dutch Tour and will soon be joined by Garry Monk, after a family bereavement meant that he has remained at home until now.
