Adrian Forbes is likely to miss the majority of September, as the knee injury that he sustained against Huddersfield last month continues to haunt him. The winger faces at least another three weeks on the sidelines but looks like being the club's only injury worry ahead of the arrival of Bristol City next weekend.
Kenny Jackett is hoping that Garry Monk will make the starting line-up at the White Rock, after the influential centre-back picked up an injury in the opening game of the season. Monk was stretchered off against Tranmere but has now returned to full training with a view to making Saturday's game.
Meanwhile, the club has no fresh injuries to report, with the news that Lee Trundle has well and truly shaken off his hamstring injury that forced him to miss the Walsall and Reading games. Adebayo Akinfenwa and Kevin McLeod are also reporting no ill effects from groin strains that hampered their training last week.
