Kenny Jackett has offered a one week trial to French midfielder David Camara in an attempt to add further depth to an already impressive squad. Camara was recommended to Jackett by the same contact that pointed Swansea in the direction of Willy Gueret - and the two played together during a spell at Le Mans.
The French midfielder was playing his football in the French Second Division last season with Rouen but would now be available on a free transfer and is actively looking for a new club. Camara has also had spells at Nancy and Le Mans over the past few seasons, before being offered a trial at Doncaster Rovers alongside Clyde Wijnhard in the summer...but both players were unsuccessful in their efforts. The Frenchman will be hoping that he can sufficiently impress Jackett to earn himself a contract and return to playing first team football as soon as possible.
