Third choice goalkeeper Ryan Harrison was yesterday released by Kenny Jackett, with the 19-year old failing to make a senior appearance in his time at the Vetch Field. Harrison was immediately snapped up by Conference outfit Canvey Island and was immediately added to the squad for last night's 4-1 victory over Stevenage Athletic.
Harrison will join fellow ex-Swan David Theobald, who was released by the South Wales club by Brian Flynn during the 2002/03 season. 16-year old Kyle Letheren now becomes Swansea's third choice goalkeeper and will become first-choice for the youth team.
