Goodfellow Heads For Colchester

Long-time Swansea target Marc Goodfellow has quashed speculation linking him with a return to South Wales by agreeing to join League One Colchester on loan. Goodfellow will join on an initial one month loan, although the deal is with a view to a permanent move.

Swansea had an offer of around £25k turned down for the winger in January after Goodfellow spent a successful month on loan at the Vetch. The signing of Kevin McLeod should have ended speculation linking Goodfellow with a return last month, but rumours had once again begun in South Wales last week, following a down-turn in form.

Colchester's Joe Keith makes the switch the other way, as both teams look to benefit from bringing in fresh blood.
