Swansea manager Kenny Jackett has confirmed that he is interested in signing Marc Goodfellow, although much depends on Bristol City's valuation of him. Jackett failed in a £25k bid for the speedy winger in January, yet it is thought that the Swans are set to make an improved offer in order to get their man.
Goodfellow was influential in his one month loan at the club last December, scoring crucial goals and adding some balance to the left side of midfield. After failing to break into the Bristol City squad after his return to Ashton Gate in January, Goodfellow found himself loaned out to Colchester United for the rest of the season, where he also enjoyed excellent form.
It is thought that Colchester are interested in signing the winger on a permanent deal, although Goodfellow's £60k price-tag could prove a stumbling block.
