Swansea may have to cancel one of this weekend's friendlies after an insane injury list that rules out over half of the 23-man squad. Already injured were Lee Trundle, Kris O'Leary, Adrian Forbes and Kris O'Leary, with Izzy Iriekpen and Leon Hylton not travelling to Holland in the first place. Now added to the treatment room are Garry Monk, Paul Connor, Dennis Oli, Kevin Austin and Gary Fisken, with Leon Britton rated as doubtful for Saturday's matches.
Swansea are set to play two fixtures in the space of 24 hours this weekend, as Jackett looked to field two seperate elevens. However, Jackett has admitted that unless the club allow him to fly out some more players, then one friendly will be cancelled. Jackett is looking at flying some of the youngsters to Holland that played in Wednesday's Garden Village friendly and could also bring Shaun Byrne to the continent.
Trialist Dennis Oli may have played his last game for Swansea City after sustaining a minor ankle injury in Thursday's friendly in Holland. Oli is set to be out of action for at least a week and will miss this weekend's two final pre-season friendlies. Jackett is now expected to make the tough decision as to whether or not to offer the youngster a professional contract, within the next 24 hours.
