Kenny Jackett has experienced further frustration in attempts to bolster his Swansea squad, after hearing that his loan offer for Darren Pratley has been rejected. The 20-year old Fulham midfielder is needed by the Premiership outfit next season and Chris Coleman has told Jackett to look elsewhere.
Big things are expected of the ex-Arsenal youngster, who made 16 appearances for Brentford at the end of last season. "I enquired about Pratley but that one is a no-go at the moment", Jackett told the Evening Post.
"I know the fans want to see a signing, but I'd ask them to stay patient. Getting someone in would excite everybody in the short term, but they won't be particularly excited if come the start of the season that player is poor and we're stuck with him on a three-year contract".
