Speculation continues as to the future of Yeovil's Lee Johnson, with the imminent closure of the transfer window looming on Wednesday afternoon. Johnson made a half-lap of the pitch after yesterday's 3-1 defeat to Chesterfield, which has prompted many to suggest that the midfielder may well have played his last game for his father's side.
Yeovil Manager Gary Johnson has also admitted that he desperately needs to bring in several new faces before tomorrow's deadline, but will have to off-load players to free up the wage bill first. However, the Huish Park boss claims that no follow-up has been made to Swansea's initial enquiry for his son and that no move is likely.
"There have been no further developments on that from what we knew last Wednesday", Johnson told the Western Daily Press. "I think Lee probably was thanking the supporters for their support today because I thought they were great - they didn't get on anyone's back".
