Jones & Murphy Both Miss Out

Stuart Jones and Brian Murphy have missed out on international call-ups to the Welsh and Irish Under 21 squads respectively. Both youngsters will be extremely disappointed with today's announcements but will probably blame their lack of recent first team activity as the cause.

Jones has only just returned from a minor injury, yet has been a back-up player for Kenny Jackett for the majority of the season. With the exception of the opening day of the season in August, Jones has made just one start in Jackett's promotion revolution meaning that Brian Flynn has had little to judge him on.

Murphy has also figured just once so far this season, in Swansea's 3-2 win at Boston last weekend after the form of Frenchman Willy Gueret and has missed out because of this reason.
