Swansea have confirmed that the capacity of the North Bank will be extended by 500 for tomorrow's fixture against Darlington and by a further 500 for their upcoming home match against Bristol Rovers. The decision follows a meeting with the Safety Advisory Group but hinges upon supporters following the advice from stewards and keeping clear of the yellow areas.
The club have pleaded with supporters to keep all yellow marked areas clear for health and safety reasons. If these guidelines are not adhered to, then the capacity will be reduced once more to it's previous size.
Obviously the board are attempting to increase the capacity to as large a size as possible - especially following the news that they are expecting yet another sell-out crowd tomorrow. If supporters listen to the stewards and stay away from the marked areas, then the capacity increase could become a permanent fixture for the remaining home fixtures at the Vetch.
