It emerged this week that the Welsh outfit had severed ties with Tutumlu following a dispute over transfer policy and there has been doubt over whether or not Laudrup will remain as manager.
"There is no problem with Michael Laudrup and Swansea City," said Tutumlu, quoted by the BBC. "He is staying. It is my problem, my problem with Huw Jenkins (Swansea chairman) ."
Press Association Sport understands the initial disagreement was over the amount of money available for Laudrup to spend on new players this summer as Swansea, last season's Capital One Cup winners, look to strengthen for a European campaign.
But the club were also unhappy at Tutumlu's desire to put forward his own list of proposed transfer targets, with the final straw being the agent's involvement in the potential sale of defender Ashley Williams, despite the Swans having no intention of letting the reported Arsenal target go.
While Laudrup has indicated that he sees no reason why the situation should lead to him departing Swansea, he has also made it clear that Tutumlu, who he has been working with since his days playing for Barcelona, will continue to be his agent.
Laudrup was appointed Swansea manager last summer and signed a new deal in March that runs to 2015.
