Last season's match between the two sides was shown live on Sky with the Swans taking a 2-0 half-time lead, only to be pegged back by the Terriers, with the game ending in a 2-2 draw. We can expect a similar contest tomorrow with both teams looking to attack. Huddersfield have had a mixed season so far and are currently sitting in 19th place with two wins from their first nine games.
Speaking to the South Wales Evening Post Kenny Jackett was optimistic about our promotion chances this season:
Ten games is the first marker in the season and, if I was to assess it so far, I would say that you wouldn't bet against us," he said.
"I wouldn't say 'Look at Swansea, they're not capable of it'. I would look at Swansea and say they are capable of getting promotion this year. "No side has really stretched the division yet. There's no gap and we're within touching distance. "But really I'm not looking at other sides, just ourselves.
"We've showed some signs in some good displays and everything's ahead of us. There are 111 points to play for. "What's important now is that we try to capitalise on two home games against Huddersfield and then Crewe next Tuesday night."
Tomorrow's referee is Michael Jones from Chester who has been a football league referee since 1997. He has refereed the Swans on ten previous occasions, the last of which being our home LDV tie with Walsall last season.
Swans probable line up tomorrow: Gueret, Tate, Lawrence, Izzy, Austin, Pratley,Britton, Robinson,Butler, Knight, Akinfenwa. Subs, from: Oakes, Watt, Trundle, MacDonald, Way, Fallon.
