MATCH PREVIEW - SWANSEA CITY V ROTHERHAM UNITED

Last updated : 22 December 2006 By ROW ZZ
Swans take on Rotherham United at the Liberty Stadium tomorrow afternoon, kick-off 3.00pm. Christmas came early for Swans fans last Saturday when we hit five goals against a shell-shocked Carlisle. Carlisle were lucky to get away with five as the Swans attacked in numbers. A fairer result may have been 8-1, with bluebirds fan Kevin Gall being unlucky to score for the Cumbrians after beating Gueret only to see his shot rebounding off the bar to safety.

This was arguably the best performance from the Swans since our 7-1 drubbing of Bristol City back in September last year. The Swans will be hoping to continue this form against the Millers in tomorrow's Liberty Stadium encounter.

Andy Robinson will be missing for the Swan's tomorrow due to suspension after picking up his fifth yellow card against Carlisle last Saturday. Robbo is likely to be replaced by Tommy Butler, which should be the only change from the side that started last Saturday's Carlisle match. Marcos Painter is again available to Kenny Jackett after agreeing to extend his loan from Birmingham City by a further month.

The referee for tomorrow's game is Dean Whitestone from Northampton. This will be his first ever time in charge of a Swans game.

Swans probable line up for Saturday: Gueret, Tate, Lawrence, Austin, Painter, Butler, Pratley, Craney, Britton, Trundle, Fallon. Subs, from: Oakes, Amankwah, Izzy, Meslien, Williams, O'Leary,Akinfenwa.
