Kevin McLeod has left the Swans and joined Championship outfit Colchester United. The Swans will not receive a fee for the left-winger but the U's have agreed to take over the remainder of the contract he had with the Swans.
Kevin joined the Swans from QPR for an undisclosed fee in February 2005. He made thirty-five appearances for the Swans scoring 7 goals. Apart from a superb spell of form at the beginning of last season, in which he scored 7 goals including a hat-trick against Bristol City, McLeod has struggled to hold down a regular first team place, especially this term.
