Swansea City captain Garry Monk is set to hand manager Brendan Rodgers a fitness boost and return for Friday's Championship visit of Millwall. The 31-year-old centre-back has missed the last Swans three matches with a calf injury sustained in their 1-0 win over Middlesbrough on 14 November.
But Monk is to be available for the third-placed Swansea against Millwall.
Striker Jermaine Easter is to have a fitness test on a thigh problem ahead of a possible Swans debut on Friday.
But midfielder Tom Butler, who underwent thigh surgery in September, remains on the sidelines for Millwall boss Kenny Jackett's return to the Liberty Stadium.
The Lions are bidding to extend their three-match unbeaten run while Swansea have lost two of their last three home fixtures.
Monk is expected to replace Alan Tate at the heart of Swansea's defence alongside Wales defender Ashley Williams as the pair had previously kept six clean sheets in seven games before Monk's injury.
