One of the worst kept secrets in South Wales was confirmed by Swansea today, with the announcement of RE-MAX as new club sponsors. The deal starts immediately after Travel House decided not to continue their association with the club.
RE-MAX is an international company that involves real-estate offering - independently owned franchises, with branches in Swansea, Liverpool and Manchester. The company is believed to have beaten off competition from two other organisations and will give Swansea an added cash-boost. However, this isn't going to be spent on players, etc as the new cash has probably already been included in this season's budget.
Today's announcement means that production of Swansea's new away shirt can get underway immediately, with the end of September the most likely "ready date" for collection.
