Swansea are unlikely to travel to Holland this summer for any pre-season fixtures, due to the move away from the Vetch Field. The Swans have travelled to Holland for the last three pre-seasons, but the club appear to have decided to remain in the country and help drum-up interest in their new 20,000 virtually completed stadium.
Last summer's pre-season included a 1-1 draw with Dutch First Division outfit ADO Den Haag and further fixtures against Haarlem, FC Noordwijk and Telstar. Traditionally, a large number of travelling Swansea fans have made the trip to Holland over the last few years, although it appears that they may not get the opportunity this summer.
The decision has yet to be confirmed, although is widely expected by many close to the club.
