Swansea could be without four key first-team players for next Sunday's FA Cup trip to Cheltenham if they pick up a caution in tomorrow's local derby. Andy Gurney, Kris O'Leary, Paul Connor and Andy Robinson could all miss Swansea first round tie should they all pick up yellow cards against Bristol Rovers after having accumulated 16 yellow cards between them so far this season.
The Football Association's new rule states that anyone accumulating five yellow cards or one red card will be immediately suspended for the club's next fixture. As a result, a number of key Cheltenham players must also watch their tackles during this weekend's League Two matches.
One Swansea player who may not need to worry about the risk is Andy Robinson, who despite already picking up four yellow cards, could miss Saturday's local derby through injury.
