Pratley`s future is the focus of much debate with the talented midfielder out of contract at the end of the season and unable to come to an agreement with the Swans over a new deal.
And that was brought to the fore by many observers over the festive period as Pratley`s form deserted him and he was dropped from Brendan Rodgers` starting XI, with sections of the Liberty Stadium crowd even booing his arrival from the bench.
But Rodgers defended his influential asset - insisting his omission was purely down to the fact he was not playing well. And since his return to the City XI at the turn of the year, the Swans boss has been rewarded with an inspired Pratley who has really hit top gear once again - culminating in his man-of-the-match display against Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Rodgers was again left singing Pratley`s praises after the 3-0 victory. And the 25-year-old told the club`s official website: "Nobody can perform for 46 games and everybody will have a dip.
"Maybe with me it was highlighted a bit more because of my contract situation. But I will keep working hard whether I`m playing well or not. I will always give my best."
