Swansea striker Mark Pritchard has been selected for the Welsh U-21's friendly against Malta next Tuesday. Pritchard signed professional terms with the Swans in the summer after impressing for the U-19's and will no doubt be delighted at being selected to make the step-up to the next level.
However, there is no place in the squad for Swansea's newly-recruited midfielder Owain Tudur-Jones, who joined the League One side from Bangor last month. U-21 manager Brian Flynn had hinted that the Welsh-speaking giant would be considered for the squad but appears to have changed his mind at the last minute.
