Marcus Bean is set to return to Swansea on loan as Kenny Jackett attempts to bolster his squad with the season's first emergency signing. Fellow midfielders Kris O'Leary and Owain Tudur-Jones have also picked up injuries, meaning that Bean could be needed to plug the vital hole in the centre of the park.
''We didn't see the best of Marcus when he came to us last season", Jackett told the Evening Post, "...but there's definitely a player in there. He is very athletic and I think the wide open spaces at our new stadium will suit him".
Bean made eight appearances for the Swans last season after joining the club on loan in February and witnessed the club stutter over the line to promotion. Rated as a promising youngster, the QPR midfielder has made 4 appearances this season in the Championship and will be hoping to make more of an impression in South Wales at the second time of asking.
