Boss Brendan Rodgers will revert back to his strongest XI for the trip to Nottingham Forest having made seven changes against Peterborough on Tuesday. Ineligible forward Frank Nouble and rested regulars Dorus de Vries, Garry Monk, Neil Taylor, Mark Gower, Nathan Dyer and Joe Allen will all be hoping to come back in at the City Ground. However, the likes of Stephen Dobbie, David Cotterill, Jordi Lopez and Cedric van der Gun will be hoping they may have done enough to impress Rodgers. One man who will definitely start against Forest is Scott Sinclair, who built on his impressive form since moving to south Wales with a hat-trick to down Posh 3-1 and secure Swansea's progression into the fourth round of the Carling Cup. Craig Beattie (calf), Gorka Pintado (shoulder), Ferrie Bodde (knee) and Tom Butler (thigh) remain sidelined, although Angel Rangel (thigh) is closing in on a return to first-team contention. Key Swans midfielder Darren Pratley comes face-to-face with the team who tried to secure his services over the summer, with the contentious words of Forest chief executive Mark Arthur straining relations between the two clubs.
