"I'm very disappointed not to win after dominating the match," said Sousa.
"We have had opportunities in recent matches to score two or three goals but I am happy with only one if we can keep a clean sheet but today we were unable to score.
"Our mentality is always to win games but sometimes our opponents make it very hard for us.
"We are working hard on new moves during training so that we can improve our game and the players are becoming used to adapting to different opponents and their styles of play.
"I thought we should have had a penalty when Craig Beattie was brought down as I had a good view of it but the referee saw it differently.
"Manager's now recognises that we play good football here at Swansea and that is something we are very proud of."
