Swansea full-back Sam Ricketts has been called up for a post-season Spanish training camp for the Welsh squad by John Toshack. Despite struggling from a mysterious hernia-like injury, Ricketts has been selected in the 22-man squad for a weeks training at San Sebastian, starting on the 17th of May.
Ricketts has earned three International caps for Wales, including two competitive appearances against Austria and despite the return of Ben Thatcher after injury, will be hoping to further impress John Toshack. Also joining Ricketts in the 22-man squad is ex-Swan Richard Duffy, who will be looking to make the jump from under-21 football after a season of Championship loan deals.
