Robbie finally got his man today as long-term target Dorus de Vries was signed by the Swans on a free transfer from Scottish Premier League's Dunfermline Athletic. De Vries a former Holland under-21 international
has signed a two-year contract, and is expected to take the No.1 jersey from Willy Gueret when the team numbers are announced in the next few days.

It has been a busy few days for Martinez as Jason Scotland was only granted a new work permit to play for the Swans on Wednesday. He has also signed a two-year contract this afternoon after his release from Scottish First Division side St Johnstone for a nominal fee.

Swans are also expected to sign Liverpool's Paul Anderson on a season-long loan. This certainly would be a coup for the Swans as the young winger is highly-rated by Liverpool.

Anderson joined the Reds from Hull City in January 2006 after impressing during a trial period with the club. Anderson had a superb debut season at Anfield and played a key role in Liverpool winning the FA Youth Cup.Such was his progress he was handed an unexpected place on the first team bench for the Champions League match with Benfica at Anfield in March 2006.

Spotted by Liverpool scouts while plying his trade for the Tigers' Academy side he completed his switch to Anfield on New Years Day 2006 as part of the deal that saw John Welsh go the opposite way. Born in Leicester, Anderson is a right winger and is regarded as an exciting talent.

Swans -mad has also heard that a centre-half may be signing in the next few days. Great times for the Swans. Watch this space for further transfer news.
