Goals in each half from Darren Pratley and Stephen Dobbie gave the Swans a fully-deserved victory. The Welsh side are fourth in the Championship, three points outside the top two, but with Norwich and Cardiff ahead of them with each having a game in hand, it looks like they will have to make do with the play-offs.
Rodgers said: "I was speaking to one or two of the Millwall staff and they said we were the best team they've seen down here this season and that's nice to hear.
"I thought we were outstanding and it was a very accomplished performance. There was a little pressure on the game because we knew Millwall had to win to get near the play-offs.
"We spoke a couple of weeks back about our performances away from home because I don't think we've done as well as we could have done.
"But that was different - I thought we were superb and we are full of confidence at the moment."
