Boss Brendan Rodgers insists Saturday`s 3-0 victory at Crystal Palace has provided the perfect springboard to go into this weekend`s south Wales derby against Cardiff. The Swans maintained third place in the Championship with what was a routine three points at Selhurst Park, extending their unbeaten league run to six games. But they now face the ultimate test, in more ways than one, as they come up against fierce rivals and leaders Cardiff, who themselves have won their last five games and are currently playing some scintillating football. Speaking about Saturday`s victory, Rodgers said: "We've played better but I can't complain. We scored three goals and kept another clean sheet, which is what I wanted when I came here. "I'm looking forward to the derby now with Cardiff on Sunday. It will be a great day. It's my first one and Saturday`s performance sets us up nicely. We go into it with confidence. "Scott (Sinclair) keeps on scoring. That was his 11th goal. Teams set up to try and stop him but he's had that knack since he was 15 years old."
