After a number of unsuccessful enquiries for Bristol City's left winger Marc Goodfellow, it appears that Kenny Jackett has finally got his man. Goodfellow arrived at the Vetch Field today to put the finishing touches to a one month loan deal, which could eventually become permanent. Goodfellow will go straight into the side for Swansea's League Two fixture against Bury on Saturday, in place of the suspended Andy Robinson.
Goodfellow initially joined Bristol City under the management of Danny Wilson in January, but has found first team opportunities limited since the appointment of Brian Tinnion at Ashton Gate. Jackett has expressed his interest in Goodfellow on a number of occasions already this season and originally attempted to sign him after he returned back from a month's loan at Port Vale in October.
The new loanee will be joined by Ijah Anderson, who was also set to complete a one month contract this morning at the Vetch. It finally appears that Jackett has managed to sign the two left-footed players that he was so desperately seeking, in order to give his side fresh balance on the field.
