"We will carry on fighting until the last day of the season, and I believe we still have as good a chance as anyone of getting into the top six. So I just want the team to keep enjoying themselves and improving in certain areas. If we do that, we can go into the play-offs feeling as strong as possible."But if we just get the points without good performances, we don't have the Championship experience and know-how to get away with it. With the way we play, we need to be on top of our game to be successful."
"The character of the boys is unquestionable, we have been through many things and they are ready for the challenge. It's just that mentally they gradually need to adjust into the mindset of a top-six team. That doesn't happen overnight. It's a big ask for our squad to do that within 10 months. Normally teams take six or seven years to do that."
The Swans have no new injury worries for tomorrow's match, but Martinez will have to decide who will start at left-back after the injury to Alan Tate in last Saturday's defeat against Crystal Palace. Albert Serran played at left-back against QPR in midweek, and he may well keep his place in that position against the Owls.Owls manager, Brian Laws, has been trying to sign a new striker in time for the game against the Swans, so far without success. However, he still believes that his team have enough to beat the Swans.
"Swansea are recognised as one of the best footballing sides in the division," Laws told the club`s official website. "They are very similar to Doncaster in terms of approach play, they`ve worked together for a long time and the team hasn`t changed dramatically. "We have to be patient when they have the ball and not be dragged into areas where we shouldn`t. I`m appealing to supporters to be patient because I think Swansea will have a lot of the ball, but we`re going to work on certain things so that when they do have it, they won`t hurt us.
