Swans not only lost bragging rights at the Liberty Stadium but also three crucial promotion points to their local rivals, but there is no time to feel sorry for themselves as the battle to reach the Premier League continues at the Riverside.
"The team is disappointed but we've got to move on," winger Sinclair told the South Wales Evening Post. "We can't do anything about that game now. The only thing we can do is go to Middlesbrough and get a result there.
"We've bounced back quite a few times this season and shown great character. Confidence is certainly not an issue at this club."
He added: "There are going to be disappointments throughout the season and we have to take them on board and move forward. We have to keep believing.
"The best thing we can do is bounce back at Middlesbrough - we can't be too disheartened by Sunday's result."
