The Football Association have fined both Swansea and Shrewsbury £1000 and warned both clubs as to their future conduct after both were found guilty of failing to control their players in a match last November. Shrewsbury won a bad tempered affair 2-0 at Gay Meadow on November 20th, yet two Swansea players were sent off and a 20-man brawl occurred mid-way through the match.
Swansea have decided against appealing the decision, as they merely wish to put the incident behind them. Centre back Gary Monk had already served a lengthy suspension in December following the FAW's decision to punish him for pushing the match official.
