Adrian Forbes and Sam Ricketts are the only two new signings to grab first XI numbers, while youngsters Jamie Rewberry and Antonio Corbisiero are also both involved. Interestingly, Kevin Nugent retains his No. 8 shirt for next season, despite his new recent promotion. This suggests Nuge isn't quite ready to hang up his goalscoring boots just yet, as he showed in Saturday's friendly against Worcester.
Today was also the annual "Cheese Fest", as squad and individual player photos took place at the Vetch. Trialists Dennis Oli and Willy Gueret were both involved, as were the rest of the squad and youth teams.
Meanwhile, just a couple of miles down the road, the White Rock stadium had it's official name changed due to sponsorship issues. Representatives decided that removing its name now will make the site more attractive to potential sponsors. In recent years, Bolton, Leicester and Bournemouth have all had their stadiums sponsored and Swansea are also hoping to cash in on any such financial rewards.
