Things have gone a strange way in the last 10 days for Swansea City.
Coming to a dispirited loss at home, then Kenny Jackett leaving the
Liberty Stadium as he felt he had lost the 100% support from the fans, board and squad. The club then appointed Kevin Nugent as caretaker manager for the matches against Doncaster and Scunthorpe. A good display from Swansea saw them take a point from Doncaster who are an in form side.
Tuesday Night see Swansea take on top of the League Scunthorpe who are 3 points clear at the summit. They have in their squad the divisions top scorer, 21 year old Billy Sharp has got 19 goals in the league this season and is a danger for any defence.
Swansea are strong favourite for the match, City who earned a valuable point at the Iron earlier in the season are hoping to take 4 out of a possible 6
Lee Trundle should be leading the attack along with the powerhouse striker Adebayo Akinfenwa who grabbed an excellent goal at Doncaster thanks to good communication between Willy Gueret and the Nigerian.
City need to take these 3 points as they really are invaluable in their promotion campaign. Tickets are still on sale and the kick off is at 7:45.
The park and walk facility will be open and the park and ride in Landore also.
