"Why would I not shoot? You back your ability there. If I've dived, book me.

"The referee [Colin Webster] went to put his whistle to his mouth then took it away and said he didn't see it. The linesman's also there."

To compound Swansea's misery they felt they should have been awarded a free kick for offside in injury time.

Instead, Forest were awarded a corner from which Luke Chambers rose to nod in the home side's winner.

Furious Swansea manager Paulo Sousa railed at what he saw as bad decisions, as did defender Alan Tate.

"To get two decisions like that wrong... [Webster] needs to have a hard look at himself," Tate told BBC Sport Wales.

"The FA needs to look at him and work out what the punishment is.

"I don't know what that is, but something should happen to him, definitely."

Pratley added: "The referee has got it wrong and it's cost us three points.

"With West Brom losing as well it could be very costly at the end of the season.

"It's a bitter pill to swallow, but we've got to move on for Watford on Tuesday."
